The 5K action camera combines an MSTAR8826 chipset with a SONY 386 sensor to deliver the sharp, colourful footage action shots demand. Mount it, hit record and keep the detail in fast-moving scenes.

Frame and adjust settings on the 2.0-inch HD touch screen, then long press the Down button to switch to the 1.3-inch secondary screen for selfie framing — no need to guess where you are in the shot.

A 170° wide-angle lens built from six layers of glass pulls in more of the trail, the road or the reef. It is the field of view that makes an action camera feel like an action camera.

Add clean audio with wireless microphone support, start and stop recording with the remote, then preview and move files through the Sup cam PRO app over Wi-Fi. Type-C handles data and charging, while HDMI sends the picture to a bigger screen.

A 1050mAh polymer lithium battery keeps the camera running for roughly 60 to 90 minutes, and a Micro SD card slot accepts cards up to 128GB. Time-lapse, slow motion, loop recording and continuous photo modes cover the shots you would otherwise miss.

The SONY 386 sensor really shows on bright outdoor shots. My trail clips look far more detailed than what my old camera managed.
Sample customer 01The 1.3-inch screen makes selfie framing so much easier, and switching with a long press of the Down button is quick once you know it.
Sample customer 02Filming while riding, the audio from the wireless microphone was much cleaner than the built-in mic on my previous action cam.
Sample customer 03You really do get the whole scene in frame. On descents the wide angle captures the trail and the surroundings at the same time.
Sample customer 04Connecting the Sup cam PRO app over Wi-Fi took a minute, and after that previewing and pulling clips onto my phone was easy.
Sample customer 05I get through a full ride on one charge and plug it into a power bank afterwards. 60 to 90 minutes is what I expected at this size.
Sample customer 06Mounting the camera on my helmet and starting recording from the remote is exactly the setup I wanted.
Sample customer 07Underwater footage came out clear and the wide lens captured a lot of the reef in a single shot.
Sample customer 08The 2.0-inch touch screen is bright and reacts quickly. Changing modes mid-ride is not a fiddly process.
Sample customer 09For the price, a SONY 386 sensor, dual screens and wireless mic support is a lot of camera.
Sample customer 10Plugging straight into the TV over HDMI to show the family our holiday clips was a nice bonus.
Sample customer 11It barely adds any weight on the handlebars and the body feels solid for something this small.
Sample customer 12Having the menu in my language made the first setup much faster than guessing through an English-only interface.
Sample customer 13I use loop video as a dash cam on my commute and it just keeps overwriting, which is exactly what I needed.
Sample customer 14Works well with my card, but 128GB is the maximum, so plan around that if you record long sessions.
Sample customer 1560 to 90 minutes is fine for a session but I carry a second charge for longer days out.
Sample customer 16The camera does everything I wanted, but a Micro SD card is required and is not in the box.
Sample customer 17The Wi-Fi app works and does what it says, though transferring a long clip takes a bit of patience.
Sample customer 18Footage gets shaky if you are running with it. Mounted on a bike or a helmet it looks much better.
Sample customer 19In daylight it is great. After sunset the picture gets noisy, so I mostly shoot this camera during the day.
